This is an excellent book that you would always refer to for answers. Subject: Corals of the World. JEN Veron
As a marine biologist, I require a good library of reference material. Since I work independently, access to academic journals is not very easy and other sources of information are needed. I have used the three-volume set: Corals of the World by JEN Veron quite extensively for my research and consultancy work. In the absence of academic journals and associated reference, these books provide the most comprehensive set of data available to the layperson. I look forward to any updates from Mr. Veron, or perhaps an online source by him that will enable access to up-to-date information on hard coral species. The only thing missing is a complete set of information on soft coral species.
